Job Description
We are looking for a bookkeeper/administrative assistant to join our team at our company headquarters in Provo. It is imperative the applicant be proactive, positive, and a hard worker. We are a fast growing company, so the position requires a self-starter who will look for opportunities to make the company better and seek to maintain and develop the positive, fun, and innovative culture we have established. Knowledge of basic accounting and business principles is a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Bookkeeping -- Monthly reconciliation of bank statements and credit cards. Use of spreadsheets and reports to accurately allocate costs across multiple classes. Assist the controller in producing monthly financial statements.
• Accounts receivable -- Manage various issues with customer payments, make weekly deposits, reconcile revenue.
• Accounts payable -- Manage check requests, pay bills in a timely manner, research and negotiate pricing for purchases made for the corporate headquarters, monitor credit card and bank statements for fraud, manage and provide monthly budget reports.
• Health/Dental Administration -- Administer the company's health and dental benefit plans.
• Event organization -- Help plan and set up weekly, monthly, and yearly events/meetings.
• Keep company files and employee paperwork in a secure and organized manner.
• Correspond with multiple branch managers located out-of-state.
• Help make sure business licenses are renewed regularly.
• Office administration help
Pay depends on experience, but at the very least will be $11/hr.
Benefits include Health & Dental insurance, 401(k) coming soon, and access to a basketball court, game room, and golf simulator.

• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must have knowledge of basic business and accounting principles
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Excel skills must include a knowledge of formatting, working with large amounts of data, and using formulas. Preference will be given to applicants with the ability to work with PivotTables and the VLOOKUP formula.
• Must be able to pay close attention to details and keep everything very organized.
• Must be able to creatively solve problems.
• Must be friendly, courteous, and positive to visitors and co-workers.
