Job Description
Jive Communications is looking for an experienced and motivated accounting professional to join a talented team of executives and entrepreneurs in building out the industry leader in VoIP.
Jive provides enterprise-grade VoIP, video and Unified Communications to businesses and institutions. Founded in 2006, the company delivers its hosted services via Jive Core, an internally developed and proprietary cloud-based platform. In the last three years, Jive has grown revenues over 600% and, in 2012, Jive more than doubled in revenue and head count.
Jive is looking for a Controller who wants to take part in further developing the Jive story.

Requirements
Responsibilities include:
• Work hard and have fun
• Provide management with strategic, timely, and relevant audit and tax recommendations
• Prepare monthly financial reporting package, reconcile, and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Ensure tax returns are filed in a timely and accurate manner
• Build out accounting controls and systems as company grows
• Design and maintain accounting processes, closing processes, and procedures
• Oversee regulatory, audit, and tax compliance
• Interface with regulatory, audit and tax professionals as required
• Negotiate vendor agreements and handle relationships and payment
• Manage cash flow and inventory
Requirements
• Accounting degree required (CPA preferred)
• 3-4+ yrs audit and/or tax experience
• Self-motivated problem solver
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with accounting software and new technology solutions a plus
• Strong work ethic
• Excited about fast growth and disrupting technology
