Quality Assurance Engineer II Job Description
Bluehost is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer II to join a team whose responsibility is to validate bugs, evaluate priority, and test projects. This position requires a great deal of dedication, passion, and in-depth knowledge of our internal tools and system.
Position Responsibilities
§ Validate bugs, test projects, and work with Product/Project Managers to flesh out project requirements.
§ Create and execute test plans.
§ Effectively communicate with various departments to gather additional information or provide information regarding trends, issues, etc.
§ Utilize change/release management best practices.
§ Work within large databases to validate issues/bugs and create projects and escalate accordingly.
Preferred
§ 1-year minimum of Bluehost/web hosting experience.

Required Skills & Experience
§ 2-3 years SQL Query experience.
§ Advanced technical understanding of Internet technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
2-3 years of experience writing software test plans.
§ Self-starter, who anticipates problems, and takes a proactive approach to responsibilities.
§ Demonstrated excellence in recognizing priority issues, defining and meeting target milestones.
§ Demonstrated experience in personnel self-management.
§ Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
§ 1-2 years of experience with at least one of the following: GIT, Perforce, Subversion, CVS
§ Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
§ Dedicated and Hard working.
§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
§ Learns, understands and applies new technologies.
§ Driven, success-oriented team player that thrives in a fast-paced, fast-changing, entrepreneurial environment.
