Job Description
Must possess a valid Pharmacy Technician license.
Perform functions related to the packaging, labeling and preparation for delivery of medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist according to state and federal regulations/guideline and customer requirement. We are a closed door pharmacy look for a fill technician to assist us in providing the best quality to nursing homes in the Salt Lake area, along with some in Washington & Arizona.
The hours we are hoping to hire for are 3 PM - 10PM various days including weekends.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Pharmacy Technician registration/certification (compliant with state regulations)
• One year as a Pharmacy Technician or related experience, preferred
• Must be able to work a flexible shift including evenings and weekends
• Attention to detail and be able to work under deadlines
• Strong organization skills including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
• Ability to make independent decisions
• Ability to work and produce results under pressure
• Ability to effectively and harmoniously interact with facility, management and other employees at all levels; promotes teamwork and professionalism
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
• Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Support and participate in common teamwork:
o Cooperate and work together with all co-workers; plan and complete job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment.
o Use tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive and emotional situations.
o Follow up as appropriate with supervisor, co-workers or residents regarding reported complaints, problems, and concerns.
o Promote positive public relations with residents and family members.
o Complete requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance, uniform and dress codes including personal hygiene, and other work duties as assigned.
• Provide great customer service to internal and external customers:
o Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.
o Support Senior Care Pharmacy in a friendly, courteous, and cooperative manner.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures regarding HIPAA Privacy and Security.
