Job Description
Van Boerum & Frank Associates, Inc. (VBFA), a respected consulting engineering firm, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, has an immediate opening for a mechanical engineer interested in the design of heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing systems for commercial buildings.
VBFA is responsible for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection designs for notable projects throughout the state and surrounding areas. VBFA enjoys an excellent reputation with clients including architects, owners, municipalities and institutions; with projects including those for institutions of higher education, healthcare, K-12 schools, sports and recreation, office buildings, and others.

Requirements
A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is preferred, and interest in the construction and building engineering industry, the design of HVAC and plumbing systems if important.
Applicant must have excellent communication skills and be capable of working with building owners and architects, and coordinating with other consulting engineering disciplines such as the structural & civil engineers.
Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
