Job Description
The employer is a fund that operates as a Reg D Rule 506 offering. The fund emphasizes principal protection and income without sacrificing the potential for substantial investment return. Through the resources and expertise of the Manager’s personnel and its affiliates, the fund seeks to invest its funds in a diverse portfolio of non-leveraged, secured asset loans that mature in less than one year, backed by high-quality first-position collateral. Diversified may also invest in other asset acquisitions or other strategies allowed by the Investment Objective.
Between the fund and its supplemental companies, there is a slew of accounting and reconciliations that need done each month. Each entity has vendors. The fund has 120 investors or more who receive payments, make capital contributions, receive statements, and require financials each month. Under the direction of a third-party accountant, the prospective bookkeeper would be the day-to-day keeper of accounting-related information. Beyond this component of the position, the fund may also rely on this person to audit and analyze incoming loan opportunities from a financial perspective. The position is full-time, but we are flexible if the prospect has something that would take some of their time away from regular full-time hours. Salary/wages are negotiable.
Some of the job functions include:
-Preparing statements and invoices
-Conducting reconciliations
-Producing company reports
-Underwriting financial statements
-Processing bills and expenses
-Communicate with vendors and servicers
-Maintain records
-Assist in week and month-end accounting tasks
-Etc.

Fraud Tips:
- Research the company before submitting your resume or personal information to them.
- If the company is asking you to cash checks and wire money back to them then the job is a scam.
- Listen to your instincts. Does something seem odd in the job posting or in your comminucations with the company? Is it too good to be true?
