Job Description
This is a summer internship.
1. Analyzes and reports on corporate bonds, asset backed securities, and mortgage-backed securities.
2. Analyzes and presents financial and economic variables associated with fixed income issuers.
3. Using standard industry tools, research, and analytic tools, creates cash flow and valuation models of current portfolio holdings.
4. Actively seeks to improve and enhance investment selection and monitoring processes.
5. Provides accurate and timely deal/sector/macro research to support the decision-making process of the investment team.
6. Performs other assignments as requested and proactively identifies value adding projects and initiatives.
7. Maintains professional attitude, behavior, and interaction with colleagues.
8. Shows intellectual curiosity about and enthusiasm for investment markets.
9. Demonstrates the ability to think accurately and critically in analytical settings.
10. Effectively communicates, deals well with uncertainty, exhibits desire to function as a team member, demonstrates attention to detail, and is accurate across all areas of responsibility.

Requirements
A declared major of Business, Economics, Accounting, Math, Statistics, or similar quantitatively-oriented major. Ability to analyze fixed income securities. Current or prior enrollment in a Beneficial’s on-campus investment internship is a plus. Good working knowledge of computer systems (such as VBA programming) and software (Bloomberg and other investment software/databases) is a plus. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or demonstrated progress towards achieving is a plus. Demonstrated interest in the capital markets.Preferred Skills
