    Job Description

The customer support representative will be the first point of contact at Great Basin for customer inquiries and will work cooperatively with outside sales and other members of the Great Basin distribution team to service existing customers, provide an excellent customer experience, and to help differentiate Great Basin in the market place.

    Relocation costs may be covered.


    Job duties: 1. Utilize excellent phone and email etiquette to enhance the customer experience 2. Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns 3. Proactively communicate leads and key customer interactions to sales team 4. Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items 5. Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed 6. Fill requests from sales for product information or evaluation samples 7. Setup and maintain customer files 8. Identify and communicate trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction to Great Basin management 9. Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the sales and operations team 10. Maintain proficiency in using Microsoft Office, CRM programs (HighRise, SalesForce) and other common office equipment. 11. Follow company policies and procedures 12. Present a professional image at all times to internal and external customers 13. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: 1. Preference given to candidates with proven success in a Customer Support role 2. Preference given to candidates with prior experience in the Medical Device industry, bio-tech, or Information Technology suppliers 3. Strong communication, prioritization, writing and organizational skills. 4. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner. 5. Multi-task oriented. 6. Excellent communication skills and problem solving abilities. 7. High school diploma or general education degree experience. 8. Must have a valid driver's license and pass all security and background checks
