Job Description
Electronics Technician is needed for a Logan employer. Will work in a production facility doing electronic maintenance and repair work on equipment. Will respond to production calls for equipment maintenance (failure, troubleshooting, malfunction, etc.); do repair and modifications to production equipment; PLC programming of additions, upgrades, and enhancements; design and install new equipment; maintain documentation libraries for production equipment and upgrades; train operators on proper equipment operation; maintain stock of essential spare parts inventory; maintain continuous improvement in skills and knowledge of improvements in the automation industry. Must have a minimum of 5 years PLC training/experience, troubleshooting skills using VOM's, oscilloscope, frequency generators, PLCs, and panelviews. Requires interaction and communication skills and basic mechanical skills/experience. Hours will be determined later. Must be able to work overtime and or weekends as required. Excellent benefits!

5 + years of experience in using PLC's (PLC's training or equivilent work experience can be substituted.)
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, and up to 75 + pounds as needed.
Ability to climb several sets of stairs in an 8 hour period.
A high school diploma (or equivilent) is required.
Ability to work in a high functioning team is a must. A successful candidate will also be able to work on individual projects, and deliver timely results without much supervision.
