Mity-Lite is a leader in lightweight, durable furniture used by customers throughout the world in the hospitality, public assembly, religious, and education spaces. We are experiencing significant growth, following the launch of several innovative new products, and taking market share in our industry. This growth in our domestic manufacturing facilities in Orem, Utah, necessitates expansion of our supply chain team, specifically that of a Warehouse Manager.

General Summary of Position
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for supporting lean manufacturing production areas, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and warehouse employee management. We are looking for a candidate that exhibits leadership in helping a team establish and achieve warehouse performance metrics and who has excellent attention to detail.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee and ensure accuracy, accountability, and timeliness on:
• Warehouse inventory management (including accurate inventory counts and transactions)
• Receiving from all vendors and customer returns (including proper process controls)
• Returns processing (including proper sorting/treatment of returned product)
• Material handling for lean production areas
• Kitting of materials for production
• Warehouse organization and 5S (training team on best practices and instilling a culture of accountability)
• Shipping for all orders (does not include responsibility for logistics, carriers, etc.)

• Experience with MRP/inventory software required; BPCS preferred
• Manager capable of instilling and reinforcing disciplines, and building and holding accountable a team
• Problem solver
• Very good attention to detail
• Great organization skills

Education and Experience Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in warehouse operations and/or supervision (inventory management strongly preferred)
• Forklift experience/certification required
• Experience managing a large team
• College degree preferred
