Job Description
Link Debt Recovery is looking for a motivated collector with debt collection experience. Outbound, and inbound calls, with account ownership, helping debtors arrange payment.
Requirements
� High School diploma required. Bachelor's Degree in a financial field preferred.
� At least two (2) years collection experience.
� Firm understanding of relevant laws with strong knowledge of collections processes and procedures.
� Working knowledge of all federal, state and local government regulations that affect the collections process including but not limited to, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Telephone Consumer Act (TCPA), and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), the Consumer Credit Act 1974, Data Protection Act 1998 and The Administration of Justice Act 1970 Section 40(1).
� Strong negotiation skills.
� Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
� Adapt to flexible work schedule.
� Excellent communication skills, clear and patient communication.
� Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
� Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
� Multi-task and detail orientation skills.
� Proficiency using and/or managing an automated dialing device.
