Job Description
Our department is looking for someone with a good understanding of GAAP and has experience with recording journal entries to the general ledger. This person needs strong communication skills and to demonstrate that they work well in a team environment. Experience with payroll and ADP dealership software are a plus. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft applications is necessary for this position, including excel and word. This job consists of substantive data entry on a daily basis related to payroll, cash and sales transactions.
Requirements
-Posting Payroll transactions to the GL
-Preparing and Posting daily cash receipts, credit card batches.
-Daily recording of invoices into the general ledger.
-Managing vehicle licensing and registration duties.
-Maintaining accurate and updated vendor certificates of insurance.
-Assisting with accounts receivable responsibilities.
-Assisting the department in ad-hoc projects related to month-end close.
