Job Description
Ranch Manager/Wrangler for small guest ranch near Moab, Utah. Experience with horses and guests is preferred. Ideal for a couple. Tasks will include wrangling for trail rides, barnyard maintenance, rudimentary handyman skills, caring for 20 head of horses, manure removal, hay hauling and maintenance of properties on ranch. Two guests cabins are located on ranch; cleaning and upkeep of those properties is part of the job. Salary is negotiable. On-site two-bedroom cottage is provided for the ranch manager. Year-round presence on the ranch is required except for vacation time.
Requirements
Extensive experience and confidence handling horses. Handyman, tractor and cleaning skills. Good health. Desire to work hard and work with the public guiding one or two trail rides per day. No smoking. No drugs. Clean record. References.
