Responsibilities: Tasks may include receiving and qualifying leads generated via website, entering qualified leads into the lead status of Sales Force.com, developing and maintaining a list of existing and new business leads, making contact with businesses, setting appointments to visit businesses, visiting businesses, discussing current and future needs, developing a sales proposal, presenting proposals and quote to potential customers, setting date to begin installation, coordinating with other departments within the company, ensuring proper equipment is in stock, ordering equipment for installation, developing and creating quotation/proposal template for both pricing plans, i.e. subscriber versus per minute, making necessary changes to reflect customization for prospect, working with the Call Center Manager to market services to those businesses, discussing products and services, following steps to close a sale, developing a standard form and packets for all proposals, quotes, and job specifications, working with other departments within the company to obtain job specifications, preparing a proposal and price quote with assistance from other departments and suppliers, ensuring the completion date is met, attending company training sessions on existing products and services, attending special training sessions by product suppliers, researching services, industry trends, and changes, reporting on new product ideas, changes, and services to the Call Center Manager, developing spreadsheets to track possible sales leads, sales calls, and completed sales, maintaining and updating on a daily basis, preparing an activity and status report and sending reports to the Call Center Manager on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, and developing and cultivating the Call Center reference program.
