To provide fresh, high quality catering items to our customers consistently and in a timely manner. In addition to continually growing and improving our catering program and profitability. ??? Develops and implements catering menu items and processes ??? Generates new customers and actively markets and sells the catering department ??? Leads a catering team of chefs, cooks and delivery associates ??? Coordinates daily catering orders and ensures deliveries are done in a timely manner ??? Ensures the quality and freshness of all catering products and services ??? Is responsible to have the appropriate assortment and inventory level of catering products and supplies ??? Confirms the pricing accuracy and signage on all catering products ??? Makes sure that the catering area is organized, clean and sanitized daily ??? Delivers remarkable customer service by educating, greeting, assisting, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints ??? Actively markets and sells the catering business ??? Plans accordingly to achieve sales, projection, labor and profitability goals ??? Continually trains and educates associates on new programs and products ??? Communicates often and provides associates with feedback and accountability ??? Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures ??? Sets a professional and positive example to others ??? Communicates openly and frequently with the Store Director and Fresh Delicatessen Sales Director ??? Ensures company standards and procedures are followed

A college degree in culinary arts, marketing, or other related job field; 5 years catering experience; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities: ??? Proficient organization and planning skills ??? Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task balance friendliness with efficiency and maintain focus ??? A good knowledge of food products, varieties and nutritional information ??? A good working knowledge of food quality, preparation, sanitation and hygiene, kitchen safety and food presentation ??? Must possess solid communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening skills in order to effectively and efficiently communicate with diverse groups of people. ??? Must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one???s own success. ??? Ability to interpret policies and procedures ??? Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for Harmons??? mission and commitment to working collaboratively. ??? Capacity to problem solve and use good judgment ??? Use of commercial kitchen equipment ??? Ability to utilize computer systems and standard office equipment ??? Ability to demonstrative creativity and originality in the presentation and service of food ??? Ability to work weekends and holidays
