Job Description
Protect Dreams. Pursue Yours. It’s our mission at American Family Insurance to protect our client’s dreams and that is what sets us apart from our competitors. Our customers trust us to protect what’s most important to them: their families, their homes and cars, their dreams of a better life. It’s a mission we take seriously and one we expect our agents and employees to embody and embrace. Join us on this mission as an Insurance Sales Agent-In-Training and discover how helping others fulfill their dreams can be the right path to realizing your own.

In this rewarding role as an Insurance Sales Agent-In-Training, you will be operating as a temporary employee while learning and developing the skills to own and operate your own business within a two year time period. You will be representing American Family Insurance products exclusively. Following an extensive training period, you will learn and grow under the direction of an experienced Mentor Agent and Agency Sales Manager. If you have what it takes to be an American Family Insurance Agent-In-Training, we will give you what you need to succeed!

We offer...

• $36,000 salary PLUS bonus opportunity
• Extensive training program and support
• Personal satisfaction from helping others
• Growth to move into Agency/Business Ownership within 2 years
• Incentive programs and bonuses
• Personal and professional recognition

Your primary responsibility is to sell American Family’s complete line of insurance products to the people of our local communities under a mentor agent. While many insurance companies operate on a transactional basis, our policy is to provide customers with great plans and exceptional service – building long-term, consultative and emotional relationships that can last a lifetime.
