Job Description
Universal Diagnostic Testing is looking for a friendly, reliable part-time Medical Assistant with a strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills. This position is responsible for greeting patients, taking vitals signs, preparing and setting up and downloading home sleep tests, and light office work.

Hours are Monday Noon to 5:00 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to Noon.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Greeting patients in a friendly and positive manner

2. General administrative support

3. Answering and directing phone calls when the receptionist is at lunch or as needed

4. Responsible for taking vitals and setting up and downloading home sleep shirts

5. Various duties and projects as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude

2. Ability to work with challenging patients in a calm, professional manner

3. Requires the ability to learn new tasks quickly

4. Ability to take directions orally

5. Good computer skills (Windows Office Suite)

6. Good organizational skills

7. Positive Background Check and Negative Drug Screen

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. High school diploma

2. Associates degree preferred

3. 2+ years office experience preferred
