Job Description
Provide complete care for two children, ages 6 and 9, in in the employer's home and perform all tasks that correlate to the care of the children. Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which the children can thrive and develop. A nanny job may include light housework duties.

This position is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 12:00pm to 5:30pm. Occasional Wednesday and Friday work also available. We would also like this to transition into a more full time position this summer when the kids are out of school.

Applicants will have experience caring for children and a safe and reliable vehicle.
Requirements
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Safely transporting children to and from school and various activities
- Assisting children with homework including reading, math and spelling
- Preparing meals and snacks for the children
- Cleaning and washing up after children's meals
- Occasional shopping for children's requirements
- Scheduling and coordinating children's activities
_ Undertaking appropriate creative activities both indoor and outdoor with the children
- Tidying children's bedrooms and play areas
- Reinforcing appropriate discipline for the children
- Following daily routines
- Doing light housework
- Running errands

Education and Experience:
- High school graduate
- Further training in child care and development such as a formal nanny training program, early childhood classes and/or in-service training or equal experience
- Proven child care experience with references
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Driving license and safe driving record
