Job Description
We are a 5-month old franchise health club with high-quality cardio and strength-training equipment, and group fitness classes. Snap Fitness is a 24/7 keycard access club and specializes in no contract agreements. We have one-third the number of members getting to full club capacity, so lots of growth potential especially this time of year! I am the owner-manager and spend much of my time doing personal training and managing the club. I need a CLOSER and a SALES ORIENTED INDIVIDUAL who knows the fitness business.
Requirements
Must be an outgoing, enthusiastic person who enjoys selling and closing memberships and group fitness class cards. Highly motivated and energetic personality a must. Strong communication skills required.
Marketing may be phone calls or proximate "hands-on" marketing within our 5-mile circle. Closing a membership happens on a simple form, and is done at the front desk. May use web-based marketing ideas. I need a strategically thinking sales and marketing person closing new memberships while I am working the floor and personal training.
Club membership included as part of compensation.
Starting wage $8 per hour plus incentives.
Part-time. Would like to start at 8 to 15 hours per week, some early morning, some evening hours Mon-Friday, maybe Saturday.
Perfect for the college student with sales, marketing and fitness club experience.
