Job Description
Assistant Controller/ Office Manager needed for our growing architecture and design firm located in downtown Salt Lake City. This is a full-time position with benefits. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00.

Job Description includes:

*Responsible for assisting with tracking and managing all costs associated with projects including tracking hours, expenses, profit, overhead, manpower and resources.

*Responsible for assisting Controller with higher-end project financials as well as assisting with daily and monthly accounting functions.

*Responsible for managing project information in database for purposes of accurately tracking costs and resources on projects.

*Responsible for office management assistance including human resources, implementing policies and procedures, database administration, etc.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must have the following qualifications to be considered:

*Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and have working knowledge of accounting software (job cost software preferred).

*Must know basic accounting principles such as calculating and analyzing gross profit, overhead, direct vs. indirect costs, etc.

*Must have at least 2-3 years experience working in a professional office.

*Looking for an extremely motivated self-starter, someone with a desire to invest in our company their time and skills with a long-term goal of seeking further management growth.
