Job Description
Brain Balance is seeking energetic and organized individuals who love children to fill multiple positions at our New South Jordan Center. The Following positions are available: Full time Director position, Full time administration/reception, part time physical/sensory motor coaches, part time teachers/cognitive coaches, part time nutrition coach. Our after school program works with children struggling socially, behaviorally, academically or developmentally. Full time applicants must be available between the hours of 9-7:30 M-F and some Saturdays. Part time applicants must be available between the hours of 2-8 M-F and 9-2 on Saturdays. The ideal full time candidate would be looking for a long-term career, and have a love of children/working with children. Part time positions are great for college students/grads, teachers looking for supplemental income, etc.
Requirements
The people applying for the full time positions should have the following skills:
Detail oriented
Good organizational skills
Excellent communication & social skills
Good computer skills
Management abilities
Marketing and sales background or skills
Psychology, development or education background a plus
People applying for the part time positions should have the following skills:
Experience working with children
Experience working with struggling or special needs children a plus
Patient and loving
Teaching experience a plus
Backgrounds in physical or occupational therapy, Behavioral interventions or psychology a plus
Nutrition Coach: Implementing Brain Balance nutrition protocols, parent support & education, organize cooking classes, etc. Background in nutrition is a plus
