Job Description
The Formulation Clerk is responsible for the formulation database of existing product formulas to meet evolving customer and regulatory needs. Additionally, this role supports the Sales, Product Development, and Production teams in the document creation and formulation integrity of finished product for customer new product launches.
Key responsibilities:
• Works directly with Sales to create and manipulate the finished product’s formulation documents
• Analyzes new ingredients for compatibility in product formulations and customer requirements
• Analyzes customer formulations for manufacturing compatibility
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the business.
Requirements
Qualification Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must have Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Must have Functional science mathematics skills
• Desire 1+ years of experience in dietary supplements
• Desire 1+ years of dietary supplement formulation experience to include a familiarity of ingredients, physical properties, coatings and dispersion, production, characteristics, product forms, and raw material processing
• Desire knowledge of manufacturing cGMP’s (21 CFR Part 111) and regulatory compliance
Education Requirements:
• Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Nutritional Sciences or related field required, or equivalent work experience
