Job Description
REDD Engineering & Construction, Inc. (REDD) is a multi-disciplined consulting engineering and project management firm located in Salt Lake City, Utah. REDD has been in business continuously for over 60 years and is looking to grow by hiring qualified designers.
REDD is currently seeking an experienced Lead Designer with a broad skill set in industrial mechanical design and CADD.

Requirements
Qualifications and experience (10+ years related experience) required include the following:
-Mechanical Drafting and Piping Design Experience in Industrial Settings
-Competency in the following software programs:
AutoCAD 2012
AutoCAD P&ID a plus
AutoCAD Inventor a plus
AutoCAD Plant 3D a plus
-Self-critical of own work
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Design of: P&IDs, PFDs, 3D Models, Piping Plans & Els, Piping Layouts and Isometrics, GAs, Civil/Structural, Electrical
-Confirm drawings against in field conditions
-Interpret REDD or Client standards and apply properly within design
-Promote quality product within design group
-Communicate current work load and estimate time for creating drawings.
-Key member of project design team, works closely with checker and project managers.
