Job Description
Nilson Homes, a leading home builder, is looking for an experienced draftsman to aide in the drafting of full custom, semi custom and production homes. This position will also be responsible for updating base home plans, plan options and other miscellaneous drafting tasks. Some interaction with home owners would be required so good people skills are required. This is a full time position and would start immediately. This is not a first time position.
Requirements
10+ years of residential drafting experience in AutoCad, preferably 2000 or newer
5+ years of that time working for a home builder
Previous experience in 3D drafting software such as Revit, ArchiCad, Vision Rez, etc. is desired
Construction experience, specifically framing experience, a plus
Must be able to draft and understand roof plans and as well as site topography
Able to use Microsoft Office and email efficiently
Commercial drafters need not apply - residential drafters only.
