Job Description
Just a Thought Boutique sells decals, signs and banners online and through our retail location. I have done my own bookkeeping since 2002, I'm ready to have someone come in that knows Quick Books better than I do to take us to the next level.
JOB DESCRIPTION A:
This is a one or two day a month position. Our Quickbooks file is reconciled through the end of 2012. I'd like you to come to our Bountiful location and reconcile bank statements, integrate online accounts and integrate our recently purchased QuickBooks POS.
We sell our products in different countries and I'd like to be able to report profit/ loss for specific countries. Currently all of our expenses and sales are bundled into the same accounts so I can't track profitability for different countries.
I admit I am not as detailed as I could be in my records keeping. At some point down the road I plan on selling the company so my goal is to have high quality data in our Quickbooks file to help with that transaction.
I will still process the payroll and pay the bills.
Compensation for this position will be negotiated depending on experience and work history.

This is a separate company from Just a Thought Boutique. This company has no QuickBooks files for the last 6 years. I need someone to come in, start from scratch, and enter transactions and reconcile the books for the last 6 years. I believe this project will take several months but will be well worth it.
The successful candidate will research transactions and do their best to enter the data to catch up. You will work with the owner to research unknown transactions.

Must be willing to work at our location for at least the first 6 months. Telecommuting may be an option after a working relationship has been established.
