Job Description
Student Services Coordinator
Do you want to work with Utahs Top Rated Aviation School? Do you enjoy helping others find a rewarding career? Upper Limit Aviation is looking for a dynamic individual to be a team player in our Student Services Department. This person must have an outgoing personality; able to attract, serve and maintain a student base comprised primarily of military veterans. Our ideal candidate is likely to find satisfaction by helping those military personnel find a career in the aviation/rotorcraft industry and strives to positively impact the business and culture of Upper Limit Aviation.
Essential Functions Include:
Follow up with students interested in the aviation program, accurately inform students on school enrollment process, answer questions regarding funding and/or veteran benefits
Track student and potential students utilizing CRM system. Ensure necessary follow up calls are made
Able to foster relationships to gain student interest in an aviation/helicopter training courses.
Follow-up with ULA applicants to assist with ULA process, housing needs, and funding inquires
Demonstrate positive attitude, motivation, concern for students, teamwork, excellent time management skills and the work ethic to follow-through on commitment to students and the school.
Assist students in relocating to Utah to start their schooling at Upper Limit Aviation.
Continuous follow-up with prospects and students
All hour availability to answer students questions throughout the enrollment and admissions process
Ensure adherence to all department of defense, state and federal guidelines, while meeting Upper Limits accreditation requirements, policies, and procedures.
Building applicable spreadsheets/reports and checklists
Ordering and managing marketing collateral
Provide administrative support to the business, i.e. data entry, status reporting and database organization
Skills
Work with enrollment department to understand GI benefits, VA requirements, and private funding financial requirements
Able to meet company expectations and quotas knowing performance evaluations will be based on new student enrollment each semester
Must be highly organized and articulate
Self-motivated, able to prioritize and stay on task
Able to accomplish work without considerable direction
Can identify problems or issues and works to correct them
Excellent communication skills
Military or aviation knowledge a plus
Sales background preferred
Identify top priorities of department and adjust daily tasks as necessary
Maintain confidentiality with all facets of student information

Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2 years customer service, telemarketing or sales experience
Excellent verbal, writing, and communications skills
Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to learn new CRM programs with ease. Experience with Apple/Mac a plus
Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
Must be organized, possess efficient follow up skills and handle multiple tasks
Must be able to pass a TSA background check and drug test
Previous experience working with Veterans Administration and knowledge of GI benefits a plus
