Job Description
Hoyt Archery Company, a premier manufacturer of archery products, is looking for a talented & experienced Quality Control Manager to join the Hoyt Team. This position will be responsible for the planning, coordination and directing the Quality Control Program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.

Major Duties:

• Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the companies Quality System and policies into compliance with the company’s quality system and ISO requirements.

• Will play an active role in implementing and leading Continuous Improvement initiatives and facilitating world class operation management methodologies throughout the organization. This position will have a focus on lean initiatives.

• Will write technical and management reports

• Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.

• Formulates and maintains quality control objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.

• Creates and implements inspection criteria and procedures.

• Interprets quality control philosophy to key personnel in organization.

• Provides inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.

• Applies total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department.

• Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.

• Works with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts for the company

• Plays an active role on quality management teams within the organization

• Designs and implements quality control training programs to key personnel in conjunction with managers

• Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED, prefer in Engineering related field or other advanced degree
• 5+ years Quality related experience.
• Well-developed computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word required.
• Ability to work well with all organizational levels to influence actions and negotiate outcomes.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively through oral and written means.
• Excellent organization and analytical skills required.
