Job Description
Marketing Assistant
A national company with headquarters in Salt Lake City is seeking a highly motivated and driven tactical Marketing Assistant with 10+ years experience to assist the Chief Marketing Officer in implementing the marketing strategy. We are looking for someone who has a wide range of marketing expertise with both traditional and digital marketing with experience executing various marketing programs focused on growth in a sales-driven marketing environment. This position is responsible for supporting all marketing activities and this is a hands-on role and requires extensive experience in executing and implementing marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer
Provide detailed analysis of marketing information, including performance metrics, budgets, and program recommendations as well as monitoring the systems and processes that help generate this information in a systematic, predictable fashion responsible for implementing marketing programs.
Productively and visibly drive both new franchise sales and local sales by each franchise in its specific market.
Provide analysis of data from a multitude of sources, functions, databases, platforms, and tools.
Problem solve to identify the cause(s) for underachievement in any program..
Manage email, online, social media, print, events, advertising, and video.
Drive website traffic using organic and paid search, engaging content, achieving website search engine optimization, and enhancing public relations and social media in partnership with third-party providers.
Effectively communicate with and train the franchise operators on marketing tools, initiatives, and programs through a variety of outlets: written guides, online resources, conference calls, webinars, and conferences.

Requirements
Qualifications:
BA in Marketing
Strong understanding of new media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc).
Proficient with Excel, Google Analytics, and the concept of conversion optimization is a must.
Be highly self-motivated and well organized.
Experience in Search Engine Optimization and Marketing, Affiliates, and ad exchange networks.
Minimum of 10+ years of related work experience, preferably with an online sales or direct mail sales responsibility.
Some knowledge of technical web design formats such as HTML, JavaScript, and Flash preferred
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. Attention to detail, accuracy, and multi-tasking is essential.
Ability to define opportunities and problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and make valid conclusions.
Demonstrated experience driving measurable sales results through customer marketing efforts in a Consumer e-commerce environment.
Innovative thinker capable of operating in both a hands-on/and an implementation capacity (detail-oriented, conscientious).
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications and presentation skills.
Strong track record in online corresponding ROI analyses.
Strong project management skills; ability to juggle multiple tasks, organize, and prioritize.
Ability to work and react quickly in a fast-paced environment.
