Job Description
This position is accountable for the initial inspection & documentation, replacement of consumed items, expediting details and reassembly and preparation of all inbound Service Bulletin Tooling (SBT) kits for Final Quality Inspection.
Requirements
Essential Functions:

• Initial Inspection & Documentation
• Inspect and document the condition of all details in kit
• Replace all consumable items from inventory
• Expedite details to correct “Next Step”: Quality Inspection, Metrology, Scrap, etc.
• Reassemble kits into original configuration
• Prepare kits for Final Quality Inspection


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with all levels of the organization and
• Must be able to react favorably in all situations.
• Advanced knowledge of blue prints.
• Must keep documents and parts in an organized manner.
• Possess interpersonal communication and problem solving skills.
• Must be an advocate of the company vision and mission statements.
• Good writing skills with experience in business writing.
• Computer skills i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Project.

Minimum Requirements:
High School Education or GED preferred. 1 year aviation mechanic experience required. 1 to 2 years experience and working knowledge in blue print reading.

Essential Mental Functions:
• Must be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
• Must be able to favorably resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure.
• Must have a long attention span in order to listen to people, perceive the real problems, and bring issues to a successful conclusion.
• Emotional stability and personal maturity are important attributes in this position.



Essential Physical Functions:
• Frequent mobility and/or sitting required for extended periods of time.
• Some bending and stooping required. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Requires manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard, calculator, copier machine, telephone, and other office equipment.
• Requires eyesight correctable to within normal range to read numbers, reports, and to view computer terminals.
• Requires hearing correctable to within normal range for telephone use and communication.

• Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others
Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all of the employer’s safety policies and rules and must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel.
