Provide field service and technical assistance to customers through installation, start-up, service, testing, maintenance and repair of ECONOVA process treatment equipment.Carry out equipment demonstrations and pilot tests for potential clients. Set up and utilize specialized test and diagnostic equipment to isolate malfunctions.Replace defective components and equipment parts to original working order.Comply with all safety, health, environmental and quality management system requirements, policies and procedures relevant to the position.Perform conventional, less complex, engineering assignments that may involve equipment or product design, testing of materials, preparation of specifications, process studies or research investigations.
Willingness to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays.Ability to prioritize and work under pressure in a loosely defined and fast-paced environment.Technical Associates degree (minimum) from an accredited technical college or university, military training or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a field service environment servicing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment. Working knowledge of PLC hardware and software control systems.Knowledge of and compliance with accepted industry and regulatory design codes and standards.Capable of reading and understanding engineering drawings and design documents.Excellent customer interface and communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.Attention to detail, organization skills, and sound judgment in establishing priorities among field service requests.Ability to weld preferred but not required.Ability to drive a forklift preferred but not required.Foreign language encouraged but not required.
