Accounting Intern
Allen Communication Learning Services provides creative, design, and performance consulting services to large training organizations at Global 500 corporations. Allen’s offerings include web-based and blended e-learning programs, learning management services, and performance consulting. Our 90+ employee organization has led the market for many years in providing cutting-edge services that impact the employees and customers of some of the country’s leading brands. In 2012 alone, our company received 21 awards, 7 for mobile learning, and is considered to be a leader in its field of customer education and corporate training.
Allen is looking to expand its accounting team with the hire of an Accounting Intern. This is a part-time, temporary position through July 2013, with an option to extend based on need. This position will be based in our Salt Lake City headquarters.

• This position includes a competitive hourly rate.

• Must possess excellent attention to detail.
• Will be responsible for processing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions.
• Must effectively communicate with the accounting and courseware teams.
• Have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must have or be working on a B.S. in Accounting or related field.
• Excellent mathematical and communication skills are essential.
• Must have competent knowledge of accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics-SL.
• Bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred.
