Position Summary
Primary person responsible for the design, development, programming, and testing of technology interfaces with Aviacode clients and partners, and for the ongoing maintenance and support of those interfaces.
Duties & Responsibilities
Works with the Implementation Project Manager, Account Manager, and Account Coordinator to understand client goals, plans, and requirements.
Using Aviacode tools and platforms, will design technology interfaces to receive clinical documentation and demographics from customers; load documentation into Aviacode systems.
Designs and develops automated reports for delivery to client as directed.
Designs and develops electronic interfaces to deliver final result (charges) to client as outlined.
Develops and executes test scenarios for all work; conducts unit tests and coordinates acceptance tests by clients.
Assists in diagnosing problems with interfaces, data transmission, loading and reporting as needed or requested.
Serves as front line support for client issues and help desk tickets related to interfaces.

Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science or similar field or equivalent work experience is required.
3+ years experience in programming with C, C# and / or .NET and XML.
Thorough and demonstrated understanding of clinical messaging (IE: HL7) and healthcare workflows.
Experience in medical coding, billing or healthcare-related back office operations, or demonstrated understanding.
Experience creating, maintaining and enhancing customer relationships.
Solid understanding of technical concepts such as: data transmission, databases, data structures, and document types such as PDF, RTF, TIF, etc.
Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR), practice management (PM) systems, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
