Job Description
P/T PRODUCTION/WAREHOUSE WORKER
A small but fast-growing medical device manufacturer based in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a part-time employee to join our production manufacturing and warehouse team.
The successful candidate will wear many hats and assume a wide range of responsibilities, including:
• production assembly of non-cleanroom medical products
• maintaining production documentation
• maintaining component and material inventories
• ordering and receiving materials and components
• preparing customer orders for shipment (pick/pack/document)
• managing returned goods and related data transactions
• assisting with facilities maintenance and other manual/clerical duties
This is a flexible day shift position based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Infrequent local travel may be required; reliable transportation is required. Compensation is commensurate with experience. This could be a good position for a student or retiree looking for 15-20 hours per week.
For this position, other preferred qualifications include:
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; 2 years or more of college preferred.
• Experience with shipping & receiving/warehouse/manufacturing operations preferred
• Familiarity with FDA GMPs and Quality Systems helpful
• Knowledge of inventory management helpful
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs
• Must be able work quickly, safely and accurately with attention to detail.
• Good writing and organizational skills
• Positive, outgoing personality with good verbal communication skills
• Must be fluent in both written and spoken English language
• Spanish language skills a plus
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and with team
• Good computer skills in the basic MS Office suite programs
• Must be able to pass a police background check
