Job Description
Following are the basic responsibilities for our installers in the Fast Track department.

• Must be able to safely and efficiently perform duties as instructed by Project Manager or responsible installer
• Work well with others
• Think independently in order to remain busy and efficient
• Load, unload and organize company vehicle
• Transport tools, ladders, installation materials, HVAC, CCTV, Access, Burglar Alarm, Fire Alarm, control components, control panels, wire, cable etc. from the company vehicle into the building or work area for installation
• Rough in automatic temperature control wire and conduit for thermostats, sensors, exhaust fans, heat pumps and all other mechanical equipment, CCTV and security systems that is throughout the building as instructed by project foreman or responsible installer
• Pull wire throughout the ceiling space, or assist with pulling wire in conduit for the automatic temperature control system, CCTV and security systems as instructed by the project foreman or responsible installer
• Install components for automatic temperature control systems, CCTV and security systems throughout the ceiling space in the building
• Mount control devices on all HVAC equipment such as but not limited to the following: air Handling units, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, VFDs, roof top units, etc.
• Must be able to safely use power tools and equipment necessary to install the automatic temperature control system and associated materials for a complete system
• Work on ladders, man lifts or scaffolding as needed
• Any and all other installation duties as determined necessary for a successful project as it relates to our scope of work

This list is basic and does not include every task, duty or component but it should give you a good idea of what this position requires. Most of our tools, ladders and equipment are heavy and sometimes awkward to transport so we require our employees to work together to make sure everyone is safe and efficient.

Job Requirements
• Must be physically fit and able to perform duties that may include installing low voltage wiring and control devices. This position may include activities on ladders and lifts using power and hand tools.
• The work can take place on new construction sites or existing occupied facilities and may include carrying and moving parts and equipment.
• Able to sit and concentrate for long periods of time
• Understanding of building plans and specifications
• Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Ability to fulfill work accurately and thoroughly
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
• Ability to finish work, follow-through, and report on responsibilities
