Position Summary
Provide leadership and problem solving for the admissions processes for Utah State University’s School of Graduate Studies.
Responsibilities
1) Manage the application for admission processes for the School of Graduate Studies, providing leadership and guidance to the processing team. Find practical, constructive solutions to admission issues and provide professional, friendly customer service while adhering to RGS and institutional policies.
2) Complete national surveys regarding application, admission, and enrollment numbers; track application and admission trends; perform statistical analyses of data and written reports for use by the RGS administrators.
3) Process and respond to questions from departments and international students regarding I-20 requirements and documentation. Complete training to qualify as Designated School Official (DSO) which allows an individual to create and sign I-20 documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
1) U.S. Citizen
2) Minimum two years of experience working with applications for admissions, students and prospective students.
3) B.S. degree in a Business related field.
4) Demonstrated experience with using data for analysis and assessment.
5) Excellent word processing and Excel skills.
6) Experience with downloading and processing html and PDF documents
7) Excellent interpersonal skills
8) Self-motivated with ability to work individually and function in a team environment
9) Travel to national conferences to receive training in order to obtain and maintain DSO certification.
