Job Description
Quick Turn is looking at opening a swing shift. And also needs one day time position for Operating CNC machines, lathe, and mill.
Requirements
Skills/Abilities/Knowledge
• Ability to read prints
• Ability to inspect own work using micrometers, calipers, depth gages and bore / hole gages
• Ability to set up own job
• Familiar with work holding tools, clamps, fixtures, etc.
• Programming experience desired
• Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment
• Ability to calculate speed and feed rates
Required:
• Experience - 3 to 5 years running machines, lathe or mills
• Understanding of geometric tolerance
• Good “machine shop related” math skills
Desired:
• Ability to work 2nd shift
Education/Experience
Required:
• High School Diploma and/or Trade Skills School
• 3 to 5 years’ experience
