Job Description
Salt Lake City rubber manufacturing firm is looking for a Production Supervisor. This is a small Union shop that is part of a large international corporation. This position will be responsible for supervision and oversight of the mixing and calendering departments.
Requirements
Duties will include: Supervision of personnel within the respective departments. Directing the operation of the departments and the maintenance of the equipment in accordance with required quality and safety standards, LEAN principles and efficiencies. Resolving problems, documenting and improving processes. Shifts will be primarily days; weekends/holidays/swing shift will be worked as needed.

This position requires at least 7 years experience in a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience. Rubber mixing and calendering experience, or experience in the rubber manufacturing arena, is strongly preferred. Should be familiar with LEAN, Process Improvement, and Best Practices concepts. Exposure to mining, materials processing and related equipment would also be useful.
