Job Description
Salt Lake City manufacturing firm is looking for an Inventory Clerk. This is a medium size facility that is part of a large international corporation. The position will be responsible packet clean up, receiving accuracy and cycle count accuracy. This is not a supervisory position.

Duties will include: Working directly with shop supervisors to get accurate counts of shop floor locations. Working closely with Production Planners to verify inventory prior to packet release and closing all packets as the parts move to shipping. Position will work with purchasing team to reconcile all outstanding purchase orders. On a daily basis the Inventory Clerk will work with trim and buff to scrap parts off of packets and perform daily cycle counts.
Requirements
This position requires a High School Diploma. One to two years prior experience or training is strongly preferred. A successful candidate must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Must have the ability to apply basic algebraic and geometric concepts. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
