Job Description
Planetarium Presenter
Our company provides and mobile planetarium service. We go to various schools throughout Utah and Idaho and present an ‘at school field trip’ that supports the core curriculum of the school where students can get a planetarium experience without having to leave school. The fee for our service is less than the cost of bussing students to a physical planetarium, and our market is expanding.

You will make presentations to elementary and middle school students in a mobile planetarium. No planetarium experience is required. Most shows are pre-recorded, and there is a script.

This is a part-time seasonal job without benefits, from January through May, but possibly might expand to year round, based on demand. The days you work are flexible and scheduled in advance. The hours are set according to the school schedule, and generally are from 7:00 am or 8:00 am to 1:00 or 2:00 pm.
