Job Description
General Manager Rockstar needed to Oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Must Be 21 years of age.
*Valid Utah Driver License. ServSafe (or equivalent) food safety certification.
*Utah Alcohol Management Certification.
*Clean Drug and Criminal backgrounds (subject to verification.)
*Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language (English) of the restaurant’s trading area.
*Thorough knowledge of Guest service, generally involving at least three years of Guest service operations and/or assistant management positions.
*Thorough knowledge of food and beverage operations.
*Excellent basic math skills. Knowledge of POS systems (Aloha).
*Knowledge of computer programs such as Excel, and Word.
*Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
*Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
*Must have the stamina to work productively 50 to 60 hours per week.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Understand completely and exemplifies all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and programs. Ensure that all Guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times, for all Guests- Dine-In, Carry-Out and Delivery. Thorough understanding of food cost controls. Ensure that all products are ordered and received in correct unit count and condition, and all receiving is performed in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures. Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, quality and serving standards. Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment. Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures. Ensure proper handling of all company products and assets to control shrinkage. Hiring, training, evaluating, counseling and termination decisions. Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met. Prepare and deliver all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized, accurate and timely manner.
