Job Description
We are looking for some additional part-time help for our elderly mother in her American Fork home. For now, this will be late afternoons/evenings and some weekend shifts. She has recently recovered from a fall and has early stages of Alzheimer's. She is doing very well right now and mostly just needs someone to help with meals, light housekeeping and companionship. We would like to find a friend to her who can help her with small projects, drive her as needed. She walks well on her own right now, but because of the fall, we want to be sure she has someone with her all of the time to prevent future accidents. There is some flexibility on hours, but we need assistance in the afternoons and evenings and some Saturday and Sunday help.
Requirements
CNA License
Previous experience in elderly care
Friendly and cooperative disposition
Valid Driver's License
Ability to lift and assist with showering, walking as needed.
Ability to help make an elderly person feel valued at this stage in life!
