Job Description
Sewing machine operator and alterations specialist needed for a public safety uniform clothing store. Responsible for: Performing customer fittings by determining the needs of the garment on the customer and taking note of customer requests. Clientele Using industry standard methods to chalk the garments to indicate the alterations to be made. Completing the alteration card. Performing all alterations on garments fitted to customer brought in for alteration, or stock that requires repairs and maintenance. Completing alterations on a timely basis to insure delivery to customer by promised date. Full time day shift. Salary is $8.00 - $12.00 an hour, depending on experience. Benefits available.

Must have a minimum of 2 years experience to include the following: Knowledge of men's and women's clothing alterations sewing Industry accepted marking and alterations. Sewing machines. High School Diploma.
