Job Description
The Assistant Director of Nursing supports the Branch Director in the clinical operations of the Branch. Assistant Director reviews Plans of Care (POC/485s) to ensure accuracy of diagnosis, utilization, and appropriate interventions. Also, audits charts to ensure practices are in compliance with regulations regarding aide supervisory visits, 13th/19th functional therapy evaluations, orders being followed, notification to physician regarding variances to plan of care (i.e. missed visits), and completed discharge summaries.
Requirements
1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with current Registered Nurse registration with the Utah State Board of Nursing.
2. Must demonstrate the ability to work under challenging and stressful conditions.
3. Minimum of one year progressively responsible management training and experience in health care, demonstrating leadership and management ability.
4. Home health care experience preferred.
5. Must demonstrate excellent clinical nursing skills and documentation.
6. Computer and fiscal skills are helpful.
