Job Description
Application development: As a member of software engineering and project teams, participate in PeopleSoft and business intelligence software design, implementation, and maintenance.
Business consultation: Consult with the University business personnel to understand their software needs.
Supervisory: Supervise part-time or full-time software developers, as assigned.

Technical Skills and Experience:
• Experience with Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Integration Broker, Application Messaging, Component Interfaces, Change Assistant, Data Mover
• Ability to mentor other team members in the use and best practices of PeopleSoft technologies
• Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows
• Experience with PeopleSoft application upgrades
• Experiences with PeopleSoft Human Resources, Financials, or Campus Solutions
• Experience with Informatica and Business Objects or related technologies
• Experience with web services development
• Experience with development team leadership
• Experience with Oracle databases
• Experience with automated testing tools
Education:
Level 2: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Level 3: Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
Level 4: Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Master’s degree in related field preferred.
Experience:
Level 1 and 2: 2 or more years’ experience as a PeopleSoft developer preferred.
Level 3: 1 or more years’ experience required. 2 or more years’ experience in PeopleSoft development preferred.
Level 4: 5 or more years’ experience required with a Bachelor’s degree or 3 or more years required with Master’s degree. Two or more years’ experience in PeopleSoft development required. Two years of technical supervisory experience required. One year of university experience is preferred.
