Job Description
The leasing agent is responsible for leasing and preleasing apartment homes at maximum rent levels and implementing the community's marketing plan. They will also review applications, prepare lease paperwork, review the lease and other move-in paperwork with new residents and assist in coordinating resident activities and other related office tasks. Benefits offered after 90 day probation period include: medical benefits, 401K, vacation/personal time, holiday pay.
Requirements
Would be required to work every other Saturday from 10:00am - 5:00pm and weekdays from 9:00am - 6:00pm. Must be motivated, outgoing and dependable with strong computer and customer service skills. Will be responsible to assist in showing units & screening applicants, prepare and maintain complete resident files, type letters, memos, and notices, enter and follow up on maintenance service requests, be knowledgeable concerning approved leasing techniques, keep an inventory of office supplies, track move ins/move outs, assist in rent collection, maintain a good rapport with residents and prospective residents, help coordinate resident activities, maintain a clean and inviting office and clubhouse, while ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
