Job Description
The Assistant Delicatessen Manager is a positive, motivated, committed individual that is responsible for adhering to and holding themselves and their associates accountable to the standards set by Harmons. It is imperative that this person have knowledge of how all products in the Delicatessen are received, stored, prepared, merchandised, kept safe, cleaned, sanitized and handled. This person is responsible for understanding product dating and inventory control in the department, in addition to reaching profit and labor goals. This person is responsible for setting the example to other associates and is able to motivate the team. This person supports changes that take place, and is able to maintain the vision of the Delicatessen Manager. This person is responsible for maintaining a professional, harassment-free workplace, and holds other accountable for doing the same. This person has open communication with all associates and is willing and ready to continue to learn and grow as a person.
