For hi-speed/hi-volume food manufacturer. The supervisor is •Responsible for implementing sanitation procedures to ensure food safety of products made at Greencore Salt Lake City Site •Ensure cleaning and sanitization of plant surfaces and equipment as per SSOP’s, before and after production. •Monitor compliance to SQF requirements, SSOP’s, and GMP’s. •Supervise sanitization department to complete schedule weekly/daily sanitation tasks •Requisition cleaning chemicals and supplies. •Maintain accurate and complete sanitation records •Train crew on safety procedures •Report weekly KPI •Preforms pre-operational inspections of sanitation. •Complete Annual and first year Performance Reviews for all subordinates.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE FOR THIS OPENING: Education: High School Diploma or GED Preferred. Sanitation and food manufacturing knowledge.. A/B training and experience; sanitation of food manufacturing plant experience. Job involves continuous standing or walking. Also entails reaching, climbing, sitting, pushing or pulling, twisting, bending at waist or ground levels, and occasional lifting (50lbs.) Drives equipment for inspection and training purposes. May work near hazardous equipment/supplies for inspection. Ability to organize priorities, problem solve and work under pressure. Must have previous supervisory and sanitation experience. Must be able to work in a hot humid/steamy environment for extended time. The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for Supervise crew in order to complete scheduled weekly/daily sanitation task, Order and manage usage of chemicals and supplies. Train crew on safety, procedures, and tasks. Reports weekly KPI. Performs pre-operational inspections of sanitation and performs corrective actions. Makes decisions relative to USDA requests at time of pre-op inspection.
