Retirement/Assisted Living Community looking for dependable CNA Med Tech. Fulltime NOC shift 10pm to 6am $10.50 starting wage with $1 shift differential. Also looking for On-call CNA able to work flexible schedule including weekends. Potential for permanent scheduled hours with benefits, $10.00 starting wage.

Job Summary
Resident Services Assistant – CNA
Performs the resident services tasks as assigned by the Resident Services Director.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions):
The following essential functions are the fundamental job duties of the position to be
completed with or without appropriate reasonable accommodation.
- Provides activities of daily living assistance to the residents as directed from each Resident’s Service Plan.
- Provides medication reminders and/or assistance according to state regulations.
- Provides verbal encouragement and support to residents.
- Prioritizes tasks to ensure optimum services to residents as requests and needs change.
- Communicate to the Resident Services Director when a resident’s need has changed.
- Communicate to other departments as residents’ needs arise during the shift.
- Under the Universal Worker Model, the Resident Services Assistant responsibilities can also include housekeeping and dining room duties.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Summary
Resident Medication Assistant – CNA
Monitors the medication management program and assists with oversight of activity in the medication room under the supervision of the Resident Services Director. Assists the Resident Services Director in supervising and monitoring the daily care given to the residents and assists the Resident Services Director with training assisted living staff.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions):
The following essential functions are the fundamental job duties of the position to be
completed with or without appropriate reasonable accommodation.
- Assist in monitoring the medication program.
- Keep records updated in the medication administrative files.
- Set-up and assist with self-administration of medication.
- Order and receive medication.
- Keep all medications in their appropriate storage areas and keep medication
cupboards, carts and doors locked at all times.
- Regularly review the resident’s medication administration record, centrally
stored record, pharmacy transaction record, and report any errors to the Resident Services Director.
- Keep medication files and medical records current and up to date.
- Regular, ongoing communication with the pharmacy, families, residents assisted living and management staff.
- Assist in updating the service plans and monthly care logs if needed.
- Assist residents in making doctor’s appointments and travel arrangements to
and from appointments.
- Assist in the training of assisted living staff and participate in orientation of
new staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and
memos. Able to write simple correspondence. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
