Job Description
EMC has an immediate opening for a full time in-house position of a highly skilled Junior PHP Developer.
Requirements
We are seeking highly motivated individuals with excellent written and verbal communication skills who can be a crucial part of our team. The right candidate would be enthusiastic, have excellent personal/team skills, web/enterprise development experience and work well under tight time constraints.
If needed, we work with student schedules and our office is centrally located in the Salt Lake Valley close to multiple college campuses and quick freeway access.
2+ Years Required Experience
- Solid PHP 5 OOP
- MySQL 5 (w/ triggers & stored procedures)
- AJAX frameworks: JQuery & MooTools
- UML design/charting
- HTML 5 with heavy CSS3
- CMS design structures
- API interaction based on SOAP & XML protocols
- Data parsing with email IMAP/POP3 & FTP processing
Bonus Experience
- RHEL Linux (CentOS)
- Adobe Actionscript, Flex/Flash
- Application Security
- High Performance/Availability MySQL
Physical Requirements:
Applicants must be able to fulfill the physical duties of the job, which include being able to sit for long periods of time and occasionally walk and stand. Applicants must be able to reach with hands and arms. Applicants must also be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to speak, write, and communicate clearly in English.
Pay $40,000 - $50,000 depending on skill level and job proficiency with room to grow. The open position is for mid-level developers with excellent growth. Our benefits include 401K, health, dental, vision, paid time off, and profit sharing available.
Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Working some weekends/holidays and/or overtime is a possibility.
