Job Description
Primary Responsibilities: Oversee the process of closing and funding loans by preparing accurate closing and funding documents; reviewing document forms, lock confirmations, loan approval sheets ensuring accuracy; preparing closing documents for shipping, lock confirmations, preparing wire request forms; ensuring funding take places as scheduled. Coordinate details with title companies ensuring proper authorizations are obtained; meet established deadlines.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
• Minimum of three years experience as a mortgage closer/funder
• Prefer applicants with some related post-high education
• Fully familiar with the requirements for Conventional, FHA and VA loans
• Excellent customer service and organization skills to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple duties under limited supervision
• Track record of handling details and complex situations with accuracy and efficiency
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (esp. Outlook), Encompass or Calyx Point, DocuPrep
• Applicants with additional mortgage banking experience in a retail environment are strongly preferred
